Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Certified Home Health Aides to provide exceptional care to our clients in various locations throughout Franklin County, MA. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
- Assist with feeding patients, if necessary.
- Take and record vital signs, as ordered.
- Assist with ambulation and exercise, according to the plan of care.
- Perform range of motion and other simple procedures, as an extension of therapy services, as ordered.
- Assist patients with self-administration of medication.
- Do patient laundry, as needed.
- Meet safety needs of patients and use equipment safely and properly.
- Report on patient condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse.
- Adhere to organization documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
Requirements:
- Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of MA.
- Own reliable transportation.
- Up-to-date CPR/BLS certification.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Fluent in English (able to speak and understand).
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and importance of patient confidentiality.
- Able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties, as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of MA Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
- At least 18 years old.
