We are seeking Certified Home Health Aides in various locations across Worcester County, MA to play a vital role in our clients' care. As a Certified Home Health Aide with Loyal Home Care Services, you will need to be a Certified HHA in the state of MA and provide exceptional care that our clients rely on to maintain their independence at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals that meet the patient's dietary needs.
- Assist patients with feeding, if necessary, while maintaining proper hygiene and safety standards.
- Take and record vital signs as ordered by healthcare professionals, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist patients with ambulation and exercise according to their individualized plan of care.
- Perform range-of-motion exercises and other simple procedures as an extension of therapy services, as ordered.
- Assist patients with medication administration, ensuring safe and timely delivery.
- Complete laundry tasks for patients, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Maintain patient safety by using equipment properly and reporting any concerns to assigned nurses.
- Document patient progress and report significant changes to assigned nurses, adhering to organization standards.
Requirements:
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) licensure in the state of MA.
- A reliable vehicle for transportation to client homes.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
- Ability to prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of a MA Health Department-approved HHA training program or equivalent.
- Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills, with ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Age 18 or older.
