We're seeking dedicated home health aides to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Queens area. Our certified home health aides play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, allowing them to stay safe at home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, prioritizing patient safety and well-being
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
- Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
