Responsibilities and Requirements
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring home care
- Provide personal care and support to patients in their homes
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and well-being
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state of NJ
- Reliable transportation
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Fluent in English
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
- Satisfactory completion of HHA training program or equivalency
- Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills
- At least 18 years old
