About the Role:
We're looking for certified home health aides in various locations in Flemington, New Jersey, to provide exceptional care to our clients. As a certified home health aide with CareConnect, you will need to be a Certified Home Health Aide in the state of NJ and have previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring home care.
Duties:
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- You must be a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of NJ.
- You need to own reliable transportation.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States.
- You must be fluent in English.
- You must understand HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality.
- You must be able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- You must have satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- You must demonstrate adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
