The successful candidate will have previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring home care. Key responsibilities include providing personal care, assisting with mobility and transfers, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and offering emotional support and companionship.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state of SC
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours/week and every other weekend
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Able to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
