We are seeking certified personal care assistants and home health aides to provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to medical personnel.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and importance of patient confidentiality.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping duties and cook simple meals as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Demonstrated literacy and arithmetic skills.
- Age 18 or older.
