Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated home health aides and personal care assistants to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Queens area.
Duties include:
- Providing personal care to patients in their homes, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assisting with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements:
- Certified Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency.
- Adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
