Summary
A Tier-1, rapidly growing global manufacturing company is seeking a Global Sales Director for their Marine Products Division. In this role, the Global Sales Director will manage company's marine sales across the US and international markets. The role requires a strong understanding of marine industry products, customer relationship management and the ability to identify new opportunities and drive sales growth. This is an excellent role for an experienced Salesman with a strong understanding of marine products or a Mechanical Engineer that is looking to transition into sales.
Responsibilities
- Customer engagement with existing customers in both the US and international markets, as well as identifying new opportunities
- Provide personalized support to key accounts and manage ongoing customer relationships
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for UMC marine products both in the US and internationally
- Stay informed on marine industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs across both US and international markets
- Educate customers, and marine professionals on the features, benefits, and applications of marine products
- Conduct product training sessions, demonstrations, and educational seminars focused on proper product usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with product development team to improve product offerings
- Assist customers in the purchasing process, providing information on product availability and order placement
- Collaborate with marketing team to implement regional and global marketing campaigns, product promotions, and trade show appearances related to the marine sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or related field
- Proven experience in marine product sales, customer relationship management or technical sales within the marine industry
- Strong knowledge of the marine market, including trends, customers needs and competitor products
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
