General Manager - Youth Sports Facility - Puyallup, WA

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and coaching a team, providing excellent member experience, as well as driving the business forward.

Salary:
- $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
Main Responsibilities:
- Overall daily operations of the facility ensuring positive operational results, assigning and directing staff, leading by example, training and development, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
- Hire, train, scheduling and payroll of staff
- Meet and/or exceed sales goals and other KPI’s
- Build lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order to build and retain membership
- Lead generation including grass roots marketing and networking
- Manage staff schedule
- Providing above and beyond customer service to membership and resolving any customer issues in a timely manner
- Schedule and participate in community events and program promotions
- Ensure team is following corporate policy and procedure
- Recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
Requirements:
- 2 years of management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Previous leadership experience in a membership-based facility preferred
- Experience in swim, aquatic, recreation, fitness, health, youth, children, sports, retail, waterpark, entertainment etc. management experience preferred
- Leadership experience with a team of at least 40 employees
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-energy and enthusiasm
- Proficiency with computers, written and oral communication, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
- A desire to grow and grow with the business
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
