Summary
A large employer in Athens, OH, is looking for a Program Manager to join their team. They will be responsible for managing both small and large projects as well as managing a project team from the beginning approval phase to product market introduction. Duties include:
- Developing project resource, capital, and expense estimates.
- Maintaining timeline and deliverables of the project team.
- Managing resource needs and cross functional teams.
- Coordinating team activities in accordance with the company guidelines, including supervising and supporting the development of plans and other required documentation.
- Ensuring appropriate representation of the project teams as needed.
- Attracting, retaining, and motivating a high caliber team.
- Ensuring communication of pertinent information to all required levels and presenting on overall project status.
- Occasional travelling may be required.
This is a full-time, temporary position anticipated to last through June 2025, but there is a strong chance of permanent hire depending on project needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay is in the range of $48-55/hour.
Qualifications
Required:
- BA / BS degree or equivalent in business administration, science, or engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years' direct program management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a clinical, diagnostic, or equivalent product development environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and the ability to multitask.
- Experience in QSR (Quality System Regulations)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships between groups.
- Knowledge of budgeting process, planning, and building realistic timelines.
- Strong knowledge of product development and manufacturing design transfer.
Preferred:
- Experience with OneERP.
- PMP certification.
