Job Title: 2nd Shift Team Lead

Location: Romeo MI

Shift Hours: 2nd Shift – [3:30pm-Midnight]

OT Available (50-60 hours)

Pay: $19-$20/hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Supervisor or someone who is looking to move from a lead to a supervisor role. We are willing to train the candidate to lead operations during the 2nd shift. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met, and maintaining efficient operations throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members to meet daily production goals.
• Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust resources as needed to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees to maintain a high-performing team.
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures; promote a culture of safety and accountability.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports for shift activities, downtime, and quality metrics.
• Resolve employee issues and support a positive team environment through fair and consistent leadership.
• Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as required.
• The supervisor may have to run a press if needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods. May require lifting up to 50 lbs and working in hot, cold, or noisy environments depending on the facility.
