We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial and Business Attorney to join our growing team.
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
Will play a crucial role in expanding our firm's litigation capabilities, bringing expertise in commercial and business litigation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and a substantial book of business, with annual revenues between $150,000 - $500,000. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive leadership team dedicated to strategic growth, where your practice can thrive.
Preferred experience in working with publicly traded, Subchapter S closely held, and non-profit companies, partnerships, and limited liability companies. This includes construction, communications and media, financial services, information systems, manufacturing, printing / graphic arts, real estate, technology, transportation, chemical, oil / gas, and professional services.
DUTIES :
Lead complex commercial and business litigation cases from inception to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, trials, and appeals.
Develop strategies aligned with client's business goals and manage case budgets to maximize efficiency.
Leverage an existing network to acquire new clients and expand business opportunities.
Cultivate long-term client relationships by providing strategic legal counsel and proactive communication.
Mentor junior attorneys and litigation support staff.
Delegate tasks effectively and foster a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Work with partners to align litigation strategies with the firm’s overall goals.
Integrate clients across practice areas for comprehensive legal services.
Develop and implement marketing strategies, including attending events, speaking engagements, and publishing thought leadership.
Stay current on industry developments and share insights to enhance the firm’s visibility.
Maintain a book of business with consistent annual revenues of $150,000 - $500,000.
Meet individual revenue targets while contributing to firm profitability.
Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Lead settlement discussions to achieve favorable outcomes while managing risks and costs.
REQUIREMENTS :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the state bar.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or business litigation.
Proven track record of generating consistent annual revenues of $150,000 - $500,000.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client service.
COMPENSATION BENEFITS :
Base Salary Range : $160,000 - $300,000
Plus performance-based incentives include percentages for origination, collections, profit sharing, and realization rates. We can delve into more details to find mutually beneficial terms.
