Personal Injury Attorney
Career Consulting Partners is collaborating with a successful injury law firm that offers legal representation to clients across the United States. We are seeking an experienced personal injury attorney. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills and a genuine passion for advocating on behalf of individuals who have suffered injuries due to negligence.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse caseload in a collaborative environment, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives. You will benefit from the flexibility of a remote schedule and receive support from experienced case managers and paralegals to help with your caseload.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Someone who can "plug and play" and begin managing a caseload of 30 - 50 cases
- Manage a full caseload of personal injury litigation matters, from inception through resolution.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to develop effective strategies.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
- Interview and depose clients, witnesses, and experts to build a strong case.
- Collaborate with support staff, paralegals, and other attorneys to ensure timely case progress.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding case developments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 - 8 years of experience in personal injury law is a must
- Strong negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality client service.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management are a must.
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines while multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
- Admission to the State Bar of Illinois and in good standing
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Base Compensation: $140,000 - $220,000
