We are seeking an experienced and strategic Benefits Manager with a strong background in benefits plan negotiation and vendor management. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives on shaping and optimizing total rewards programs, ensuring competitive offerings that attract and retain top talent. This role requires expertise in building strong vendor relationships, driving cost-effective benefits solutions, and leading initiatives that enhance employee well-being and satisfaction. This position is an integral role within our organization and you'll work together with a strong team to ensure best in class offerings as well as help drive employee relations across the team.

Key Responsibilities :

Benefits Program Administration :

  • Oversee and manage employee benefits programs, including enrollments, to ensure compliance with ACA regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payments and accurate processing of year-end 1094 / 1095 forms using ADP.

Regulatory Compliance :

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits-related regulations, implementing changes as needed.
  • Handle ACA compliance requirements, ensuring accurate monthly and year-end reporting.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Relations :

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with benefits vendors, brokers, and insurance carriers to negotiate the best options for employees.
  • Collaborate with external partners to optimize service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Employee Support and Communication :

  • Serve as the primary resource for employees regarding benefits, compensation, and policy-related inquiries.
  • Interpret and explain company policies, assisting employees in navigating their benefits options effectively.
  • Benefits Strategy and Recommendations :

  • Analyze employee needs, industry trends, and market benchmarks to recommend enhancements to benefits offerings.
  • Provide data-driven insights and cost analyses to support leadership decision-making.
  • Market Research and Consultation :

  • Conduct ongoing research on industry best practices and consult with benefits professionals to maintain a competitive edge in offerings.
  • Leadership and Team Development :

  • Supervise and mentor benefits team members, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting :

  • Gather and analyze benefits-related data, preparing reports to highlight trends and inform strategic planning.
  • Additional Contributions :

  • Support HR initiatives and perform other related duties as needed to enhance benefits programs and overall employee experience.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Proven experience in benefits administration and compliance.
  • Strong expertise in benefit plan negotiation and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize benefits offerings.
  • Leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and team development.
  • The compensation package is dependent on experience with a range between $80,000-$100,000. This position will be onsite in our corporate headquarters in Buena Park, CA
