Our client, a hedge fund, is looking for a temp to perm Receptionist to join their NYC team.
In this client-facing role, you will take on a variety of reception duties to provide seamless daily support to the organization. Your adept organizational and multitasking skills, along with your stellar interpersonal communication skills will make you an asset to their team.
Hours: 8am - 6pm with a 1 hour lunch break
*Fully Onsite Monday - Friday
Responsibilities include:
- Greet incoming employees and guests
- Check in visitors to allow security access
- Answer and redirect phone calls
- Scan and file paperwork
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Run errands and assist with trips to the post office
- Assist with billing and Account Payable
- Set up meeting rooms (water, coffee, tea, etc.)
- Act as a liaison with building maintenance and vendors
- Track office inventory and purchase supply orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office setting required
- Professional and strong communication skills
- Well-organized and strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
