What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Controller position at Career Movement?
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller with a strong foundation in technical accounting, financial management, and governmental accounting. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a key role in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance while supporting the division’s strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare financial statements and reports (balance sheets, income, and cash flow).
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and oversee accounts payable / receivable functions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Streamline financial processes and contribute to policy development.
- Support accounting systems implementation and maintenance (Epicor preferred).
