Our client is a leading SaaS company, specializing in data security and AI, and they are seeking an IT Support Specialist. This role is based in LA but requires significant travel across U.S.
Responsibilities :
- Receive, unpack, and test new IT equipment (servers, network devices, etc.) at the Agoura Hills office.
- Travel to various company office locations across the country (significant travel required).
- Install and configure servers, including racking, cabling, and power connections.
- Set up network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and other networking hardware.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site.
- Conduct remote verification sessions (e.g., FaceTime, video conferencing) with on-site managers to confirm proper installation and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment installations and configurations.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Adhere to company IT policies and procedures.
