What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Finance position at Career Opportunities?
The Intern - Finance position will assist the Finance team with day-to-day operations of cash management. This is a year-round internship that averages 15-20 hours per week during the school year – based on class schedules and our company’s business hours – and up to 40 hours per week during summer months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with day-to-day operations of cash management
- Reconcile and analyze monthly investment results
- Maintain, review and analyze monthly fee statements
- Improve and/or develop more efficient workflows
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and financial analysis for Finance and other divisions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, ideally in sophomore or junior year
- Ability to learn new skills quickly
- Superior working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent organizational skills to handle and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Superior analytical skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Initiative to take on new challenges
