Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for an Electronics Manufacturing Technician based at its Pittsburgh, PA office. This position will be responsible for assembling small to large electronic components from drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix AZ, and McKinney, TX in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Winding of heavy gauge wire and foil
- Soldering wire and braising copper foil
- Material handling of large parts and components
- Crane operation to position raw materials and finished product
- Assemble prototypes and small run production of electronic components.
- Apply insulation and connect wiring.
- Testing of electrical parts and components.
- Repair or replacement of defective components.
- Cycle counting component and finished parts
Qualifications include an associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Soldering and braising experience is required. The ability to lift up to 70 lbs. is required.
