What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Career Opportunities?
- Plan daily production activities.
- Monitor and audit the plant for safety and housekeeping activities.
- The training of the hourly personnel in the Production Department.
- Ensure production deviations are recorded and resolved in a timely manner.
- Makes a monthly report of the production activities and performance to the Plant Manager, if required.
- Writes Plant Improvement Requests (PIR’s) and MOC’s as needed.
- Promotes good housekeeping standards and initiates corrective action of hazardous and unsafe conditions in the plant.
- Coordination and control of re-work material.
- Special assignments and projects assigned by the Plant Manager.
- To assist in developing and follow-up of statistical process control for plant functions.
