In our continued mission to deliver the best value, experience and opportunity for our communities, stakeholders and partners using customer insights and experience, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Tenant Coordination who will be responsible for managing the build-out of tenant spaces within an assigned property portfolio in accordance with landlord’s delivery obligations. This position will report directly to the AVP, Tenant Coordination with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger’s hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.

About the Role:

As Senior Manager, Tenant Coordination, you will oversee the remodel and interior construction of assigned stores, ensuring projects meet approved budgets and lease obligations. You will support the Leasing team by addressing tenant space planning issues, reviewing design packages, and managing landlord work approvals. Strong communication with tenants, property management, and leasing teams will be crucial to keep everyone informed on project timelines, scope, and budget. Additionally, you will manage vendor selection, prepare construction drawings, and secure necessary permits, all while focusing on department goals such as early store openings and cost efficiency.

You will maintain clear communication with stakeholders, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and contribute to the improvement of project delivery processes. Your ability to analyze construction plans will ensure that designs are executed accurately, keeping projects on track and within budget, while helping meet both departmental and project-specific goals.

About You: 

• You have at least 5 years of experience in the field of retail construction, property management, or tenant coordination
• You may possess a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• You demonstrate ownership and accountability for the successful outcomes of projects, ensuring that responsibilities are fully met.
• You facilitate effective communication across all team members and stakeholders, making sure everyone is aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
• You actively contribute to both department-wide and project-specific goals, ensuring your efforts help achieve the broader objectives of the organization.
• You take the lead in driving initiatives aimed at improving the project delivery process, helping to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• You exhibit strong attention to detail and exceptional organization and project management skills, enabling you to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• You possess the ability to analyze and provide insights on construction drawings and specifications, offering valuable input to ensure accuracy and quality.
• You are able to travel via commercial airlines and maintain a valid driver's license to operate your own vehicle or rental car in a safe manner.  This position requires up to 15% travel.

Hiring Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees.

Hiring Range: $95,000- $145,000 per year
