What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Supervisor/Manager -Fiduciary position at Career Professional Associates?
Major Law Firm in Manhattan ( Top 20 International Law Firm) is looking for a tax specialist in the Fiduciary Tax area. Responsibilities include:
• Prepare and file Federal and State estate tax and gift tax returns;
• Prepare and file Federal and State fiduciary income tax returns;
• Prepare estate and trust accountings to be filed in the Surrogate’s Court for judicial settlement;
• Estate and gift tax planning (actuarial and interest computations i.e., QPRTs, GRATs, CRATs and
CLUTs);
• Maintains and update estate and trust accounts and records (tax information);
• Deal directly with attorneys in the Estates and Personal Group;
• Responds to IRS and NYS audit inquiries.
Salary range for this position is $185,000-$215,000 plus bonus and fantastic benefits. You should have 6-8 years of Law Firm or CPA firm experience with a strong emphasis in Fiduciary tax. There is tremendous potential to continue to grow in this position.
