The Financial Analyst II will assist with creation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and analysis as well as have a key role in the management of departmental data in support of operational business priorities. This role is key to the effectiveness of HOA Accounting Servicing to internal partners and external boards by working across various business units to achieve department and operational objectives. This position provides financial reporting and business metrics that support the strategic direction and financial objectives of the business. The analyst delivers monthly close reporting, business metric dashboards, and margin reporting while providing key variances drivers and making forecasting recommendations. Designs, compiles, and manages projected targets and assists with monthly forecasting and operational reporting. This position will also have a key role in the annual budgeting process and maintains and manages relationships with key stakeholders. Analyst is expected to perform all functions as requested by management.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Financial Planning & Analysis for HOA associations
- Month-end Close, Forecasting and Budget Deliverables
- Monthly and Budget Data Support
- Support as a Finance Liaison with Resort Ops Leaders/Operators
- Other ad-hoc projects as needed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- P&L forecasting and budgeting support for all HOA associations
- Prepare and analyze monthly reporting including providing variance explanations and proposed solutions
- Recommend, coordinate, and drive internal projects and improvements with a heavy involvement in supporting design direction, and monitoring of financial models through business implementation
- Building and/or enhancing existing financial reporting that will be utilized to forecast and analyze financial impacts for HOA associations
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results, presenting consolidated reporting to management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA or relevant graduate degree a plus
- Accounting or Finance experience in a corporate environment a plus
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Timeshare / Hospitality industry experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate effectively (written and oral), as well as strong presentation skills.
- Exceptional team player with the ability to collaborate and follow a project through to completion

- Demonstrate success in managing multiple projects within strict deadlines
- Must be willing to work in a team oriented and dynamic environment.
- Intermediate to Advanced level user in Excel
- Understanding and experience with financial modeling

- Ability to work with leadership to strategize and plan to insure completion of Departmental and Business Goals and Objectives.
