The Recruiter I will play a key part in attracting, screening, scheduling with leaders and support the onboarding of talent for a variety of resort positions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a keen interest in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, strong time management and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent acquisition while contributing to the smooth operation of the resort.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
• Drafting and posting job openings on various recruitment platforms, including job boards, social media, and the resort's website while ensuring job descriptions are accurate and aligned with the resort’s hiring needs.
• Actively sourcing candidates through job boards, resume databases, ATS and social media platforms. Screening resumes and applications to identify potential candidates who meet the qualifications for open positions.
• Conducting initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, availability, and fit for the resort's needs. Coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication.
• Organizing and scheduling interviews with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring both parties are prepared and informed in addition to sending out calendar invites and reminder emails for interview appointments.
• Maintaining and updating an organized database or applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information. Tracking candidates through different stages of the recruitment process and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong verbal and written communication and active listening skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities with good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and leaders
• Demonstrates a positive and professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to work outside of business hours and weekends when needed.
