What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Property & Casualty Insurance Actuarial position at Career Site?

This position is in person from our Bala Cynwyd, PA location.

What You Will Do:
Your tasks will include several of the following:
- Develop pricing and profitability performance metrics reports for senior management using Microsoft Power BI
- Perform loss development analysis for reserving using ResQ software and Excel models
- Perform data validation and testing using Microsoft SQL database
- Analyze industry data with regard to Increased Limit Factors, loss trend, exposure trend and loss development factors
- Develop rate filings in support of insurance product revisions
- Perform Risk Adjusted Return on Capital analysis
- Other duties as assigned
What We Look For:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Insurance/Risk Management, Mathematics, or related discipline (ideal candidate will have completed Junior year but open to other classes as well)
- Pursuing actuarial exams
- Proficiency with MS Office; Power BI and SQL a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
