What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern - Reinsurance position at Career Site?

What You Will Do:
- Analyze reinsurance treaty contracts and their key terms
- Support the reinsurance team to prepare ceded reinsurance renewal submissions
- Assist with review of assumed reinsurance submissions
- Manage the natural catastrophe tracking process and notices of binding authority
- Create a peer analysis of GBLI’s current reinsurance structures
- Assist with property exposure analysis
- Other duties as assigned
What We Look For:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree, preferably with insurance/risk management or business concentration (ideal candidate will have completed Junior year, but open to other classes as well)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite with willingness and ability to learn new applications quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of individuals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Prior experience in insurance or business a plus
