Essential Duties & Functions
- Edit, proofread, and coordinate the release of email communications, including A/B tests when necessary. Continually track and analyze results to assist in producing effective messages as well as desired deliverability and open rates.
- Corporate Brand Story: Generate content and ideas for publications to enrich the company’s various brands by researching industry-related topics, interviewing customers, and key stakeholders.
- Learn the company’s varied line of targeted products and their unique distribution in order to correctly connect existing and potential customers.
- Handle collateral development (design and website) by producing Flyers, Ads, Newsletters, Website Banners, etc., Content Production (video production and other assets), and Brand updates and communication initiatives for all company brands.
- Perform minor website maintenance and improvements in conjunction with the Technology team, and submitting and managing tickets with WordPress VIP as needed.
- Perform minor content updates by posting and/or editing content of company’s websites using CMS and company’s internal GlobalConnect SharePoint site.
- Manage overall “site health” including accessibility, partnering with Technology team and outside Marketing Vendor as needed.
- Other ad hoc marketing projects as assigned by the department, including presenting to management and senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and 3 years’ related experience or a combination of education or experience
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, and knowledge of Marketing Automation and CMS such as WordPress a plus
- Excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, time management, communication, design and creativity, and proofreading skills.
- Must be able to work effectively (independently as well as collaboratively) to meet tight deadlines.
