Essential Duties & Functions
- Design and develop forms using various development tools to support automated policy issuance
- Create and map fields and rules to ensure accurate data capture and policy issuance
- Maintain a comprehensive library of forms for use by external agents and internal teams
- Work with Json documents utilizing the Acord Data Model for seamless integration
- Work with XML documents and building xPaths to data nodes for seamless integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure form designs meet business needs and compliance standards
- Test and validate forms to ensure they function correctly and meet quality standards
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and external agents on the use of developed forms
- Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in form development tools and technologies
- Document processes and best practices for form development and maintenance
- Report and respond to technical and business processing issues from the field and escalate to internal areas in Product Management and Information Technology
- Report and respond to inquiries from agency users on technical enhancements to policy issue, quick rater and Penn Link Manual
- Assist in all projects and daily tasks
- Provide backup for the agency set up process on an as needed basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience in the property and casualty insurance industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience with technical forms development
- Experience with data management, web-related data transfer, and electronic delivery of products
- Prior experience with GhostDraft or similar document generation applications
- Strong understanding of Json file structure and object-oriented design
- Prior experience working on projects
- Experience with document generation tools, including editing documents, creating variables, and markup fields
- Basic programming skills
- Strong understanding of XML documents and the ability to build xPaths to data nodes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong knowledge of customer service support best practices
- Strong PC skills (MS Office applications)
- Proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving technology
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git
- Ability to conduct thorough testing and validation of document templates
- Solid grasp of user experience (UX) design principles as they pertain to document creation and user interaction
- Professional Development related certificates a plus
- Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines a plus
