Job Summary:
This role involves providing electrical, instrumentation, specification preparation, and resolution of maintenance engineering problems. The successful candidate will coordinate with a multi-discipline team of engineers, supervisors, and craftsmen to maintain and upgrade equipment in a chemical plant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical distribution and instrumentation related standards, codes, and regulations
- DCS, PLC, SCADA/HMI control system software, hardware, and architecture
- Databases
- Instrument and Electrical software tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering college or university
- 5 to 10 years of experience in heavy industrial Electrical and I&C engineering design, checkout, and commissioning
- Hands-on field experience with electrical generation/distribution systems, instruments, and control systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, craftsmen, and frontline supervisors
