Career Transitions is supporting an industry leader located in Elkhart who has an opening on their team for an Accounts Payable professional.
The Accounts Payable professional is responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health and operations of the manufacturing facility.
Accounts Payable Specialist Key Responsibilities :
- Invoice Processing : Receive, review, and verify invoices and check requests. Sort, code, and match invoices. Set invoices up for payment.
- Payment Processing : Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Prepare and perform check runs. Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
- Vendor Management : Reconcile accounts payable transactions. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues. Maintain vendor files.
