Career Transition is supporting a high growth, precision machining shop located in SW Michigan. The company has an on-site opening on their team for a Senior Accountant.
The ideal Senior Accountant has a Finance and Accounting background gained in a manufacturing environment, and a passion for working collaboratively to achieve company objectives.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities and qualifications include :
- Oversee receivables and payables to ensure accuracy.
- Experience with bank records and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and present financial statements.
- Assist with budgets, audits and forecasting.
- Assist with month end and quarterly closings.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience with ERP systems required, PLEX a plus
