Model and End User Application (EUA) Governance Analyst

This Role Will Be Responsible For:
- Supporting the Model and EUA Governance Manager in executing governance frameworks and policies for risk management.
- Assessing and validating models and EUAs, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- Reviewing conceptual designs, calculations, and logic behind EUAs and financial models.
- Managing inventory updates, tracking changes, and ensuring appropriate documentation.
- Performing independent verification of EUA operational controls.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations for risk management committees.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to provide training and communicate risk management requirements.
Expectations Will Include:
- Successfully completing assigned risk management projects and tasks within deadlines.
- Developing a strong understanding of model risk and EUA risk controls.
- Identifying risk exposures and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Maintaining professional relationships and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicating clearly and concisely in writing and verbal discussions.
- Ensuring adherence to internal policies, controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrating attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

A Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following:
- 3-5 years of experience in model development, governance, validation, audit, or risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as VBA, SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
