What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Support Analyst position at Envista Credit Union?
Note: This is an on-site position at our Main Office in Topeka, KS. This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
What this role looks like:
An entry level position that assists in the testing, implementation, and user support of applications in the Application Support Department. Responsibilities include: initial troubleshooting of user errors, assisting with implementation testing, day-to-day maintenance, and researching optimum or alternative solutions. Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks and report analysis. Successful candidates must make a professional appearance, be enthusiastic, dependable and service-minded. What you'll do:
- Provide support in troubleshooting, identifying and resolving technical and application problems, and assists to find the appropriate course of action to reach a speedy and accurate resolution. Implements and supports opportunities for relevant technology integrations with applications. Responsible for administrative duties and completing service requests for applications. Includes addressing defects, adding enhancements, updating user/groups, etc. Responds to user requests; creates, revises and supports system related jobs using ticketing system as needed.
- Participates in QA testing when implementing, customizing or upgrading system software, updates and changes. Troubleshoots and supports third party software and applications. Stays current on system features and software releases. Reviews release notes and analyzes implications. Maintains a working understanding of system infrastructure in order to help monitor and resolve general issues affecting operating systems.
- Documents all testing plan results and supports the Training Department to develop appropriate instructional materials. Assists in testing, revising, and updating department procedures as needed. When Assisting with employee support tickets, responsible for documenting interactions and scheduling follow ups. Tracks progress and interacts with other users to facilitate resolution.
- Performs database clean up and system audits. Duties may include but are not limited to closing accounts, adding restrictions, processing error reports and reviewing product and rate configuration. Keeps track of relevant and/or recurring problems and is able to recognize patterns that may point to a larger issue.
- Serves as continuity back-up for the Senior Application Support Analyst position.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
