As a Business Development Manager in the hiring company, one of leading beauty & cosmetic packaging development and sales company's, your role is to identify, develop, and nurture new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on driving sales and revenue growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored packaging solutions for their cosmetic products.
Here are some key responsibilities and tasks that you might be involved in :
1. Market Research : Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and competitor analysis to identify potential opportunities for growth.
2. Lead Generation : Use various strategies to identify and generate leads, including target contacts by networking, attending industry events, trade shows, networking events, and leveraging online platforms.
3. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and pain points to offer appropriate solutions.
4. Product Knowledge : Develop a deep understanding of your company's cosmetic packaging products and services to effectively communicate their benefits and advantages to potential clients.
5. Sales Presentations : Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the unique selling points of your packaging solutions.
6. Negotiation and Contracting : Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to secure business deals. Prepare and finalize contracts in collaboration with legal and other relevant departments.
7. Collaborative Approach : Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, design, and production to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality packaging solutions.
8. Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Track and analyze sales data to forecast future sales and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular reports and updates to the management team.
9. Customer Service : Ensure excellent customer service is provided throughout the sales process and after-sales support to maintain longterm client relationships.
10. Industry Events and Networking : Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to showcase your packaging solutions and establish new contacts.
