Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our occupational health practice serving the greater Memphis metropolitan area. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive occupational health services including work-related injury care, pre-employment physicals, and workplace health screenings.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
- Perform pre-employment, fitness-for-duty, and return-to-work examinations
- Conduct DOT physical examinations
- Manage workers' compensation cases
- Provide workplace health screenings and preventive care
- Coordinate care with employers, case managers, and specialists
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications
- Current NP or PA license in Tennessee and Arkansas (or eligible)
- Master's degree from an accredited program
- Current DEA registration
- Occupational health experience preferred
- DOT Medical Examiner certification preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
