JOB DESCRIPTION
The position of Regional Sales Director, Residential at Crestron requires proven strength in gaining sales, ownership of company goals, with performance at and above targeted quota. We are looking for a hunter, someone with the desire to win! In this role you will demonstrate and foster the Crestron culture of individual responsibility and accountability, take control of revenue targets, learn about our product suite and forge a plan of action to exceed company goals in Residential Sales targets. Territory will include the West region covering all states West of the Mississippi and the Western Half of Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing a sales team and differentiating Channel sales efforts from indirect and other partnership initiatives in commercial dealer network.
Ensuring that your team executes the requirements expected of all sales professionals in Crestron including the achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
Responsible for directly calling on Top Customers / managing VIR performance in your region.
Cultivating and managing deep relationships with executive level clients.
Along with a strong sales and/or technical background, the candidate will be essential in developing accounts and selling project-based, hardware and/or software systems solutions by training and education onsite and at Crestron Technical Institute (CTI).
QUALIFICATIONS
College/University degree preferred.
Demonstrated awareness of the regional market with the ability to deliver business value to Crestron’s Commercial dealer network and build on customer relationships.
10 years of experience in technology sales and previous experience in the Commercial AV market is highly desirable.
Proven track record hiring and leading successful teams, achieving/exceeding individual, and team sales goals. Must be team oriented and have strong mentorship skills.
Experience with Salesforce (or other) CRM required.
Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. Ability to grow and scale upward with the company.
Able to communicate effectively with customers, partners, consultants, and engineers.
Working knowledge of Crestron's products and software
Knowledge of procurement policies, information and facilities management within a large organization will be important as you will be demonstrating our products to potential clients.
Our preference is that the Regional Director live within the sales region.
Valid U.S. Drivers' License required.
This role will require you to travel, which includes traveling by car, train, and or airplane.
Per applicable state requirements, the annual pay range for this position ($178,955 - $257,248) which consists of base salary and target sales incentive (subject to performance), reflects the hiring range for candidates performing the role. Also note, an individual’s offer may vary from this range as it may be impacted by additional factors, including but not limited to the candidate's hiring location, qualifications, experience, and market factors.
