Position Overview: Crestron is a global leader in advanced control and automation solutions, providing innovative products that enhance the way people live, work, and learn. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Government Account Manager to spearhead our efforts in the Federal Civilian sector, enhancing our presence and fostering long-term relationships within key government agencies. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Serve as the primary point of contact for Federal Civilian agencies, managing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities to expand Crestron's footprint. Account Management: Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within the Federal Civilian sector. Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of Crestron's product line, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet the specific needs and regulations of government clients. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including IT architects, procurement officers, and agency executives. Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business and renew existing contracts. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting Federal Civilian agencies. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with federal regulations and Crestron's policies and procedures. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or account management, with at least 3 years specifically in selling to or working with Federal Civilian agencies. Education: Bachelor's degree or relative experience. Skills: Existing relationships within Federal Civilian agencies. Strong understanding of audio-visual, automation, and control systems technology. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools. Knowledge of federal procurement processes and regulations. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Travel: Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events. Must have valid U.S. Drivers' license with the ability to drive in every state of your territory; and be able to travel up to 60% (by either car, airplane, or train). Why Crestron?
