POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a field sales pro to work with Crestron residential AV dealers to sell, train and demo our innovative luxury Home Audio Video control and automation systems/products.
As a Regional Sales Manager, Residential AV Sales for Northern California/Northwest territory, you will be responsible for developing existing and new partner relationships across assigned dealer accounts. This includes creating business plans to increase product awareness and growing Crestron sales revenue and margin. You will also be expected to identify new market opportunities and growth areas for your territory. This role requires up to 70% travel to assigned dealers located in Crestron's Northwest Residential sales territory, industry conferences and company events - including overnight stays.
This is a remote position, but we require that you live in our Northwest sales territory – e.g. San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, or Portland metro areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute dealer partner business plans with the goal to meet and exceed the company’s target growth and margin targets.
Achieve/exceed established target revenues and gross margin and other key performance indicators.
Review and understand market and industry factors to formulate appropriate business plan initiatives and accurate forecasts.
Execute HQ or regional partner enablement initiatives, partner demand generation, account mapping, and other partner-facing initiatives to increase pipeline and close revenue.
Support sales territory planning effort with Crestron end user teams and other channel teams.
Implement product launch programs with specified channels; Drive the product placement and business management process within leading partner operations.
Coordinate and support end-user focused channel marketing, inside and field sales activities
Become knowledgeable on all Crestron products and applications as related to products sold by channels in the territory/region.
Deliver product/sales training and demos with the appropriate channel partners to develop sales opportunities.
Identify and pursue new opportunities with appropriate channel partners.
Maintain accurate and timely account records as needed for efficient account management.
Inform management of issues and trends that may affect business outcome and success of the sales team.
Perform other related tasks or duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree preferred/ or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 - 7 years' sales experience selling home automation, hardware, IT, conferencing, communication solutions or other AV technology solutions to dealers, distributors, resellers, value added resellers, service providers or carriers.
Proven ability to build new business and meet or exceed sales quotas.
Strong relationship building ability with executive or management personnel (internal and external partners).
Experience with high tech products, knowledge of software/hardware preferred.
Experience in writing, successfully implementing and tracking a well-prepared sales plan.
Strong aptitude to leverage technology and software tools to optimize performance.
Successful group presentations and product demo experience is essential.
Results oriented self-starter, energetic, determined to succeed, entrepreneurial individual placing primary focus on the departmental goals and objectives.
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills; works well with others in a team-oriented environment.
Fluency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with Salesforce CRM desired.
Ability to partner and collaborate successfully with colleagues to achieve goals.
Must have valid U.S. Drivers' license; and be able to travel up to 70% (by either car, airplane, or train) including overnight stays.
Prefer candidates who live within specific geography of: Northern California/Bay Area, Portland, OR, or Seattle, WA.
Per applicable state requirements for CO, CA, NY, and WA, the annual pay range for this position ($140,000 - $180,000) which consists of base salary and target sales incentive (subject to performance), reflects the hiring range for candidates performing the role in those specific states. Also note, an individual’s offer may vary from this range as it may be impacted by additional factors, including but not limited to the candidate's hiring location, qualifications, experience, and market factors.
