As we grow, the supply of talent must keep pace and critical to our success an Investment Analyst
Your Role
As an Investment Analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting the investment team in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in the healthtech sector, as well as managing NLC’s existing portfolio. You will gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle, working closely with experienced professionals to develop your analytical and deal-making skills.
Your Activities and responsibilities include:
- Support Investment Managers and Associates in conducting due diligence on potential opportunities by performing market research, financial analysis, and building financial models to evaluate investment viability and valuations.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and potential investment targets in the healthtech sector.
- Engaging in portfolio management activities, including KPI development and strategic planning. Supports the preparation and execution of follow-on funding rounds and exits, while also conducting periodic performance assessments, valuations, and return analyses.
- Facilitate the formation of investment consortia with co-investors to fund the portfolio while nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investment partners
Your Profile
- Strong academic background with a Master’s degree in economics, business, finance, entrepreneurship, innovation sciences, or a similar field of study
- 1-3 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field (internships included).
- Insightful, adaptable, and collaborative professional with a strong drive for success and a keen commercial mindset
- Values teamwork and thrives in a dynamic environment. Energetic, approachable, and motivated to achieve goals while fostering a positive and enjoyable workplace culture.
- An eye for detail, but also the ability to see the big picture
- A genuine interest in and passion for the healthtech sector.
- Full professional proficiency in English. Speaking Dutch is a plus
