Evidence-Based Associates is hosting a virtual MST Hiring Expo on January 31, 2025 via Zoom and you're cordially invited! We're hiring masters-level therapists to work with youth in intensive, home-based settings in communities across New York City. The model these therapists work under is called Multi-systemic Therapy. About MST:
MST, which was conceived in the mid-1970s and developed in the 1990s, was designed to serve youth with serious anti-social behavior and often long arrest histories, blending cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior management training, family therapies, and community psychology to get results. After 30 years of research and 18 studies, MST repeatedly has been shown to:

EBA’s mission is to support families and strengthen communities through the high-quality implementation of evidence-based programs (EBPs). As a ‘production company’, we focus on the implementation issues back stage so that EBPs and community-based providers can be the ‘stars’ on stage. Over the past 15 years, EBA has served multiple states and counties in the areas of juvenile justice, child welfare, and behavioral health.
EBA offers a team of professionals with backgrounds in social services, juvenile justice, evidence-based programs, information technology and human resources. EBA’s interdisciplinary team brings a combined total of more than 150 years of experience in clinical services and program management related to community-based and evidence-based programs.

About MST:

After 30 years of research and 18 studies, MST repeatedly has been shown to:
- Keep youth in their homes, reducing out-of-home placements up to 50 percent
- Keep youth in school
- Keep youth out of trouble, reducing re-arrest rates up to 70 percent
- Improve family relations and functioning, and
- Decrease adolescent drug and alcohol use
