Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Location: Greenville, NC 27834
Job Duration: 6 months (Highly possible extension)
 
Shift:  Monday- Friday; 8 am - 5:00 pm
 
Position Summary:
In this position you will process A/P invoices and assist with month end close ensuring compliance with approved policies and procedures.
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Process A/P invoices accurately and in a timely manner to ensure proper accounting records.
• Assist with the month-end close process, ensuring all A/P activities are completed and compliant with approved policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update vendor details for both new and existing vendors.
• Manage the weekly payment run process and ensure all payments are processed on schedule.
• Build and maintain positive vendor relationships, helping to resolve any billing or payment issues to avoid potential disruptions.
• Support the Accounts Payable close process, including intercompany transactions, aging reports, cash sheet, unvouchered transactions, accruals, and reconciliation.
• Assist with other accounting duties as assigned by management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.

• Minimum education: High School Diploma (or equivalent). A degree is preferred.
• 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with SAP is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
