Lab Technician
A dynamic opportunity for an entry-level Laboratory Technician has arisen at Careers Integrated Resources Inc.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to join our team in Millsboro, DE. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for critical laboratory procedures and duties in the production of veterinary products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various technical tasks, including aseptic work, media preparation, antigen inoculation and harvest, tissue culture preparation and harvest, filling vaccines, etc.
- Maintain accurate and reliable record keeping, including charts, logbooks, and all pertinent documentation.
- Communicate any unusual and/or non-routine occurrences when performing tasks.
- Clean work areas, prepare, clean, and sterilize glassware and equipment for use.
- Operate and setup equipment as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including 4-10 hour days.
- Effective writing, oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and company policies.
Working Environment:
You will be working in a laboratory setting with hazardous materials, including Isopropal Alcohol, Hydrogen peroxide, Phenolic Disinfectants, and Oxidizers. It is essential that you adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
