Manages the recruitment and selection process for assigned exempt and non-exempt position to include the development and implementation of recruitment plans, recruitment advertising programs, recruitment metrics, and recruitment related activities and initiatives.
Directly posts, source passive candidates, negotiate salary, and close candidates.
Develops recruitment techniques, strategies and action plans to efficiently cover recruitment workload.
Maintains a selection and interview system in accordance with state and federal laws, EEO Regulations and Hospital policies.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Health Care related field required.
HR (SPHR, HRCI) or HR Specialty certification desired.
Experience:
Two years full-cycle recruitment experience within a healthcare, preferably acute care, setting. 3-5 years experience preferred.
Skills:
Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and customers, resulting in fulfilling the talent acquisition needs.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent computer skills including advanced ATS proficiency, strong HRIS, MS Office, Power Point and Excel skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Effective communications skills, both verbal and written.
Organized and detailed oriented.
Sensitivity in handling confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to develop recruitment plans and research and resolve complex recruitment issues.

The Recruitment Coordinator for Palmdale Regional Medical Center provides daily support to the Human Resources Department/Recruitment Team by ensuring all recruitment and retention related initiatives are addressed in a professional and efficient manner. The Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely scheduling of applicant interviews and applicable testing ensuring quality customer service is provided. Reviews applications and evaluates potential candidates for acceptance aProductst the quality standards required by the Southern California Region to effectively build, increase, and maintain a qualified candidate pool.
Essential Job Duties

Facilitates the hiring process, which includes interviewing and screening candidates
Presents qualified candidates to hiring managers
Assists hiring managers with posting requisitions to iCIMS and verifies appropriate approvals are entered
Maintains current listing of open positions and applicant status
Provides clerical support to recruiters to facilitate interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding of qualified candidates to include
Assists with organizing off-site Recruitment Events, participates in New Grad and New to Specialty programs as needed
Knowledge of Recruitment, HR Generalist, compensation, and benefits
Staffing or sales experience preferred
Computer skills to include applicant tracking system, Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, and HRIS systems
2-4 years of continuing advanced responsibilities in Recruitment and/or Human Resources service disciplines for multi-sites and/or a large organization
High School Diploma
Human Resources Certificate, Associate s Degree or Bachelor s Degree in a business related field or equivalent preferred
