This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance while applying your coursework in a real-world business setting. As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to critical accounting functions, financial reporting, treasury operations, and internal controls. You will collaborate with professionals across the organization and gain exposure to various aspects of corporate finance, equipping you with valuable skills for your career.

This internship offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you'll work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and refine your analytical and technical skills.

This Internship will occur June 10th - August 15th 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and analyzing financial data.
• Support the financial reporting process, assisting with the preparation of key reports and related analyses.
• Partner with the Treasury Team to reconcile bank accounts and prepare cash flow analyses and investment reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, gaining exposure to financial operations and vendor transactions.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and budget-to-actual reporting.
• Work with the Internal Audit Team to perform internal control testing and support compliance initiatives.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis to support various business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, audit, and business leaders, to gain a holistic understanding of financial processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with completion of at least sophomore year.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to process improvements.
