What?
The Associate Process Development Technologist is responsible for assisting in the design and execution of pilot and plant level process development, as well as improvement projects that includes packaging development.
Main aspects of the role include:
- Supports the Process and Packaging Development Manager and the Technical Services and R&D teams by assisting in experimental design for process development and data driven results.
- Supports Manufacturing and Engineering in equipment design and optimization.
- Supports the design and implements plant trial activities in accordance with company expectations and initiatives (personal safety, product safety, customer specifications, etc.)
- Reviews and finalizes production documentation for newly developed products, processes, and/or equipment.
- Drives change through data analysis and effective communication at all levels of the company.
- Continuous learning to increase knowledge in Technical Services capabilities and offerings.
- Support packaging development and implementation to the plant/distribution center environments, including generation of plant supporting documents, specifications, artwork review, and data collection.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year experience in food formulation, packaging, and/or process development. This candidate will have the ability to work independently and collaborate with R&D team members as well as cross functionally throughout the organization. In addition, the ability to adapt and an ever-changing work environment to support company goals and strategy. This individual should have basic understanding of statistical analysis methods and applications and be able to maintain confidentiality.
