Our employer, a nonprofit organization that is committed to ensuring the continued growth and prosperity of Palm Beach County, is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager. The Marketing and Communications Manager develops and implements communication strategies, manages social media, creates design, coordinates content, and supports public relations efforts. This role is essential in enhancing the Chamber’s visibility and engaging with members and the community.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop marketing campaigns for various programs and events, as well as membership.
- Coordinate and execute e-mail campaigns, meeting deadlines, following timelines, and ensuring uniformity of content / messaging.
- Develop marketing collateral for events, projects and membership that aligns with the chamber’s branding (i.e., promotional flyers, programs, etc.)
- Design and edit graphics for print or web as needed.
- Help keep the company website up to date.
- Write / create blog posts, social media posts, articles, and marketing and sales collateral.
- Create e-mails, digital links, landing and splash pages to assist in direct marketing efforts.
- Write and edit newsletters, emails, and other communications as assigned.
- Track and report email analytics
- Take the lead in analyzing and reporting email metrics and take corrective action when needed
- Assist in other areas where needed
Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or journalism preferred
At least 2 years’ experience in marketing or communications
Highly driven and results-oriented
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service required
Excellent writing skills with an emphasis on writing for the web and social media
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time and strong attention to detail
Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite required
Knowledge or experience working with Email Solution Providers (e.g., Constant Contact)
Familiarity with database management software.
