Position Overview
The Operations Associate plays a key role in supporting both training facilitation and project management efforts. This position is responsible for delivering engaging training sessions, workshops, and presentations while also managing and executing special projects that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a dynamic facilitator with strong project management skills, capable of balancing multiple priorities and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Facilitation (50%)
Co-facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities for various audiences, including students, apprentices, and supervisors.
- Support and adapt training materials to meet the needs of different stakeholders as directed by CareerWise leadership.
- Assist in planning and coordinating training logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, and participant engagement.
- Gather and send feedback surveys.
Serve as a key point of contact for training-related questions and logistics and support.
Special Projects & Project Management (50%)
Lead and support special projects that align with strategic initiatives, ensuring effective execution and timely completion.
- Support project management for existing grant management.
- Supporting the CWC team with administrative functions; including scheduling, calendar upkeep, agendas.
- Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Support Apprentice projects in administrative projects.
Track project progress and provide regular updates and reports to leadership.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in training, facilitation, or project management.
- Strong ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences in training settings.
- Experience managing projects from initiation to completion, with attention to detail and organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with youth, educators, or workforce development programs.
Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
