We are hiring a Property Accountant to join a leading global commercial real estate and investment firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that manages high-profile commercial and retail properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including rent collection and vendor payments.
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing variance analysis.
- Utilize Yardi or MRI to maintain financial records and generate reports.
Qualifications:
✅ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
✅ 4 years of property accounting experience (commercial or retail real estate preferred).
✅ Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
✅ Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
