Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
-Assist With Chores Around The House
-Take Some Clients To The Store or Doctors Appointments As Needed

- Support patients with special needs, such as those with physical or cognitive disabilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility in patient care areas and assist with sterile processing

Note: The First 30 days after being hired may not be a complete full schedule but you will have a schedule in a very timely manor.

Requirements:
-CPR/ FIRST AIDE CERTIFICATION

-TB TEST
-Pass a Criminal Background Check
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Summary

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide essential support to individuals in home and community settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Reporting to a designated supervisor, your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and fostering a safe environment. Your core skills in long-term care and caregiving, along with premium skills such as first aid and experience with bathing and changing, will be vital in delivering compassionate support, although it is not required for all clients. Strong communication skills and CPR certification are essential for effectively interacting with clients and their families, making a meaningful impact in their lives.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
